Sante Adairius Rustic Ales Oakland Arbor
Old Oakland charm meets serious craft beer
Downtown, Oakland
About This Place
Sante Adairius has been brewing some of the most interesting, experimental beers in California for years, and their Oakland outpost brings that same energy to a converted historic space in Old Oakland. The Arbor feels like the kind of place that could only exist in Oakland right now, with enough character baked into the bones of the building that the brewery didn't need to oversell it. Light and open inside with a proper back patio where dogs are actually welcome, it's the kind of spot where you can hang for hours without feeling like you're overstaying anything.
Their beer lineup spans the whole map. You're going to find technical, farmhouse-style ales alongside more approachable stuff, which means there's actually something for different moods and different times of day. The brewery doesn't take itself too seriously even when the beer is serious, which is refreshing in a landscape where craft beer culture can get a little too intense.
It's not trying to be the loudest or most Instagram-ready place in the neighborhood. It's just genuinely good beer in a good space with people who know what they're doing. That's the whole pitch, and honestly it works.
